Core ProgramsBelow are the foundational social learning journeys needed to create a thriving, purposeful and inclusive culture. The first two journeys, C3, and VAP, empower your people to activate their purpose and align it with the organization's mission and values. The next two, TCP and EIA, activate healthy team communication. The last program, PLA, builds the foundation of purpose-driven leadership. C3 - Clarity, Contribution, Community Employees activate their purpose on the job. VAP - Values Activation Program After activating their unique purpose and values, employees find their unique connection to the organization's mission and values. TCP - Team Communication Program Once clear on who they are and how their role and contribution at the company is an expression of who they are, they develop critical team and communication skills such as active listening, gratitude, effective apologies and "I" statements. EIA - Emotional Intelligence Accelerator Now that people are activated, aligned and can communicate effectively, they take their team skills to the next level by developing the 5 key EQ skills (self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy and social attunement). PLA - Purposeful Leader Accelerator With the skills to express their purpose and attune to their teams, they then are ready to begin a their journey as a leader, developing the 5 key practices of purposeful leadership (A. model their purpose w/ stories + vulnerability, B. activate authentic connection and trust between team members, C. contextualize contribution, D. align learning, contribution and connection goals, and E. sponsor diverse team members). Once this foundation is complete, there are other power skills to develop using this method, such as integrative self-care, conflict resolution, creative intelligence, cultural intelligence, storytelling, boundary setting and persuasion. |
Program StructureKick-off call - Live video call with the whole cohort to share the goals, program overview, meet your small group, and Q+A. NOTE: Inclusion is baked into the learning method - small groups of 4 are optimized for diversity. Program Duration - Each program has 5 modules designed to be completed every 10-14 days. Module design - In each module, participants watch one short video, complete 1-2 exercises and have a 1-hour video discussion with their peers. Platform - The Unity Lab LMS places the participants into their small groups, delivers their videos, exercises and small group discussion guides, gives them a place to connect with their group and the larger cohort, and ask questions of the program leaders. Celebration Call - Live call with the whole cohort to celebrate completion, share wins/breakthroughs, distribute completion certificates and announce next steps. |
SPOTLIGHT: Team Communication Program (TCP)
To lead in the 21st century, we have to lead diverse teams. The TCP empowers your people to empathetically lead and communicate, empowering them to build trust and solidarity with diverse peers.
LCP Structure
Leadership depends on people feeling safe, connected and aligned. It means being able to communicate in a way that others feel heard, seen and honored. It means being a good listener, speaking powerfully, cleaning up our mistakes, and expressing gratitude. The TCP guides people to activate powerful communication skills and develop empathy and trust with diverse peers. They'll meet in their groups over videoconference. Each of the 5 modules includes a video, one exercise, and a 1-hour discussion.
